The traveling trio made it to New Zealand and we are soaking up the scenery, family gatherings and all the fish'n'chips we can eat. As you can see in this picture captured on our first day that mom is half asleep and Amelia arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed...
The first week we had four generations together at the table and we enjoyed our view of Kapiti Island, roast lamb dinners and Baynes story telling.
On to Christchurch to visit Andy and Liz in their fabulous first home. A beautiful villa with lots of room, cozy fire and an outdoor bath. It didn't take long for the Baynes brothers to get the bikes out and start exploring.
This is what Jamie's been dreaming of for a long time...
A trip to Akaroa to stroll along the shore and enjoy the sunshine. A very cute little town with arts and crafts, pubs and cafes and lots of seagulls.
A quick visit to Jamie's home town of Wellington and the weather couldn't be better. Flax, city scape and wind turbines are the latest addtion to the view.
Now we are working our way up the North Island and have more family to see!
