Jamie has kept up with his runs in the snow and Amelia tags along for the ride in her chariot. (note: After 3 months of winter the novelty of the winterwonderland starts to wear thin...where is spring?)
After the run, papa bear cools down and Amelia does laps around the living room!
It's amazing to watch young toddlers model the behaviours they see. Amelia has become a little parent to all her dollies and teddy bears. We watch her little routine of pick up the "baby" pat, pat, rocking, kisses, put to bed, shhhhhh..., stomp, stomp, wake up and lets play!
Amelia's newest source of delight is stickers! She loves to peel them off and stick them on her nose or shoes. Jamie and I spend most of our weekends walking around with flowers on the tips of our nose. Life is hard to take too seriously when you're covered in stickers!
Here is a rare picture of Jam'n'Cream on a date!!! No, this is not our first in 15 months but it is the first time I've brought out the camera when Amelia isn't around. The focus of our lives has definately been absorbed by our little girl but we do try to remember that we love to get out and read the newspaper cover to cover once in awhile! The little things like dinner without flying peas, drinking all of your coffee in one sitting, eating at a restaurant without a bag of distractions, driving down the road with out breaking into song.. "head and shoulders, knees and toes" can be a parents dream date! Valentines date at Raw Sugar cafe.
