The air is crisp and it's time to put on our woolly sweaters and hiking boots...

to enjoy the burst of fiery red and gold trees.

This past weekend their was a group of us who hiked in the Gatineau Hills and crunched through the leaves and relished the sunshine.

Amelia found the walk quite exhausting...

and after an hour and a half of lugging his "gros sac de potate", daddy was ready for a nap too.

The change in season brings new routine and Amelia loves her morning read of her favorite book with dad, before he bikes to work.

Then it's off for a stroll or ride to the park.

Amelia and mama moose have their daily outings and routines which make the days fly by, and always include some art, songs and cooking up a storm!

This means that daddy and Amelia have LOTS of dishes to wash!

Jamie and I always enjoy our nights off to venture into the city.

We celebrated Jamie's birthday with a delicious meal and a pavlova with wild blueberries for dessert.

Life is a wonderful ride when watching little ones develop and grow...

Amelia inspires us to
Carpe Diem!
