The falling leaves

We've been running around having a busy Autumn. Barely finding enough time to renovate the basement, teach the odd day of high school, rake the leaves, and of course play outside!

Georgia has been watching Amelia and the leaves dance around outside.

The branches of our big maple tree are almost bare.

Which means it's time to rake our lawn continually...
(...and jump into mountains of leaves)

It's also time to carve a pumpkin...

and dress-up like a frog or a tiger!

Most afternoons Daddy Baynes herds the animals into the bike cage, and a bike ride or a run is a great re-set button for all.

This little one is growing up so quickly and is already on the move!

Amelia keeps Georgia entertained and when they both get laughing it's contagious!

This almost 3 yr old is full of ideas, words, sensitive moments and laughter.

This 8 month old is discovering her (substantial) reflection.

Peek-a-bo0, it's you!

This is daddy Baynes' electrical workshop. After framing, flooring and insulating, Jamie has now single-handedly wired our whole basement. The Canadian Electrical Code Standards manual has become his close friend, and he's well-known at the local Home Depot, where he's biked back and forth with reels of electrical wire, outlet boxes, and tools of the trade, day and night, for weeks!

The man cave is now the best lit spot in our house! Now Jamie is looking forward to crawling out of the cave and getting a dose of sunlight in NZ!
