Monday to Friday it's same old, same old...
But come the weekend and we're off to a lake to socialize and cool off...
enjoying mango pits,
group bedtime stories,
and making father's day sandcastles for the 3 papa's: Brad, Adam and Jamie!
Then it's back to the basement to finish some walls and paint some more. The light is at the end of this renovation tunnel. Jamie has been a mole underground; working far to long but the excitement is building as the finishing touches begin. Oh, and a floor needs to be finished but he's all over that!
Bringing daddy Baynes up to enjoy the sunshine once again at a friends' cottage last weekend.
Ayli rode into town and this has made Amelia's week. She is now six years old and loves to dance. Amelia is shadowing her every move.
Mama Baynes has been loving the holds of all these new babies being welcomed into our circle of friends.
Sarah and Malcolm's little boy Lauchlan enjoys sleeping at meal time, impervious to all the passing around...
and this little guy is the newest addition...meet Emilio!
Rebecca and Caetano couldn't be happier!
Then on July 1st, Canada Day.....
54 people from 28 different countries became Canadian citizens at Ottawa's Museum of Civilization.
Jamie was one of them!
Paper work done, and ten years later we are both citizens of two great countries.
and Amelia the Caniwi joined the celebration by climbing a tree!
