winter tales

Snowy times in the backyard

After school snow snacks in the front yard

There has been lots of fort building inside...

hibernating in boxes...

and playing cozy games with friends.

We are enjoying visits with both babies and dinosaurs.

Keeping afloat in swimming lessons

Playing music...
and filling notebooks with stories and new words.

Amelia is a busy beaver learning piano with daddy and violin with her new teacher, Nancy.

Georgia and Amelia made a poster "Go daddy go" for his hypothermic half marathon. Jamie is embracing the winter with -30 C runs and bike rides

Busy days make for good sleeps at night....

...and great bed head in the morning!  Georgia has a birds nest that is pretty impressive and big enough for a kiwi bird!

February started with a broken radius.  Georgia was a brave patient after falling at the community centre and stopping her fall with her wrist -ouch!

Her torus fracture will be as good as new in 4 weeks!

Amelia's back to enjoying crunchy apples after her wiggly front tooth finally fell out.

Amelia and Georgia helped plan our Valentines day.
Matching pig tails, go to Winterlude, and drink hot chocolate.

The ice slides were great!

Check out the link for the family ice slide experience!

Bundle up to enjoy the snow and warming up with beavertails and hot chocolate!
A great weekend for cold toes and warm hearts.
