Yup, Amelia celebrated her 2nd birthday!
Mommy and Daddy can't believe that time flies this quickly!
A pink stroller from mama kiwi and a 'big girl' backpack were a hit.
At her party, la pièce de résistance was Uncle Lloyd's cupcake set. All other boxes were left unopened or tossed to the side and we were all served birthday cupcakes all morning....and the next day.
Kids love colourful toys, tissue paper and yummy treats but Amelia's favorite thing is sitting on your lap and having a story read out loud.
She will make her rounds and have as many books read as possible.
She is finding mommy's lap has a growing bump to navigate at story time. This doesn't seem to faze her although yesterday I found her pretending she has her own baby bump!
Everyday brings new words, new tricks and funny antics. Today's new word was "Aroha" which she learned from her kiwi pajamas.
...and her new trick is a kapa haka performance...
...Ka mate, ka mate, ka ora' ka ora'....

I'm impressed with Amelia's Te Reo, and Kapa Haka efforts! Her hair is growing, she is becoming a real girl now. Where are the photos of Corinnes growing bump?
