We are back from our epic trip to New Zealand!

It took a few days to acclimatize and get used to the snow.

Amelia decided it was time to try some skates at our local park.

Georgia's been busy walking around the house with her new set of wheels.
It's mommy and daddy Baynes who have been trying to get reorganized and resettled into routines. We are getting there and more importantly we've got our photos ready to share.
It will take a few blog entries but we hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane. We are now treasuring the adventures, the warmth and the great time we had with our kiwi clan.
It started, November 30th, in Sydney....

with the best chocolate Belgian waffles!

A wonderful way to catch our breath after a long flight; a stop in Sydney for a sail, BBQ and a visit with Dave, Flick, Charlie and James!

Waiheke paradise was waiting for us and so were mama and papa kiwi!

Bring on the sunshine...

and a first swim in the ocean!

New tastes... (The "Fluffy" was one of Amelia's favorite kiwi specialties which she sampled throughout our NZ tour)

New friends!

and we felt very happy to see our first signs of a kiwi Christmas!

It has to be said that without mama and papa kiwi's support and generosity our NZ tour would not have run so smoothly. Thank you for the car to cram full of gear, the countless great meals, and all the time you took to play!
