Mama Lorna's

Driving down the Kapiti Coast, we felt very nostalgic. We stopped in Levin, checked out our old house, and noticed all the small changes.

But some places don't change and they just feel like coming home.

That's how it is with Cae-Crin.

From the punga trees and gardens,

to the breakfast table and seeing mama Lorna busy around the house.

Hey, Amelia Lorna Baynes, that's not your chair...cheeky!

With a cupboard full of toys and the view accessible to all, the girls had a ball!

We didn't rush this part of the trip.

The garden was the play ground,

and mama and papa kiwi were the entertainment.

Taking walks up the hill...

to meet the locals.

We paid a visit to papa's grave with flowers from the garden.

And Georgia took in some of the history of great, great grandma Winifred Ethel Adams.

We savoured each sunset and appreciated the views.

There are so many spots just to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A hug to mama before we took one more picture to keep in our memories for years to come.

What a wonderful visit!
