It was time to say farewell to our NZ cousies so we had a tea party complete with scones, cream and strawberries, a game of croquet and a dinner out on the town.
No Canadian trip is complete without choosing a wooly hat for the winter.
The next day we played at the park, watched them pack and raced them to the airport just in time for them to board their plane to LA. Three weeks flew by and we crammed it full of activites. These four cousins won't forget the games and adventures they had this summer!
Off to the cottage to be munched by sand fleas. More Calamine lotion please!
Late July means get a bucket and get picking wild raspberries.
These bear cubs ate fist fulls and there was still enough to be made into jam.
Jamie's project has finally reached completion. It's a work of art! Our neighbours don't know what to think of it and each time we walk into our backyard it feels like we've stepped into a story book. A flying boat complete with slide has got to be a couple of imaginative girls dream come true!
There is of course a few traffic jams on the slide when our friends come over to play!
