August camping trip

 13 adults + 9 kids = fun camping chaos!
Adults set up tents, food and pour drinks.

While kids set up pecking order, school and library!

The days are quickly filled with bike rides, runs, hikes and swims.

With a constant supply of nuts, granola and marshmallows.

The bugs were around but August is the best month for moderate mosquito munching.

  Friendships grow...

 kids are happy...

and parents get to socialize.

Mornings are early and eased by coffee and hammock daycare.

Pyjama explorers find lots of bugs and chipmunks to share breakfast with.

Long weekend camping trips are worth the planning and packing.

Being outdoors is the best way to hang out and enjoy the last lap of summer.

It is always nice to get home to a bath and early bedtime routine!

These girls are now making up their own crafts.  Amelia  decided to make wings and glue them to her arms this week.

Georgia is great on her strider bike

While Amelia is wobbling her way to biking on her own....

 (with some help from Daddy)

Mommy's another year older and wiser!
New books and art supplies make this lady very content.

It's also nice to find a little girl has snuck into your room to warm up your bed!
