We've been indulging in a little birthday cake!
Momma Moose was treated to a meal and delicious desserts.
August is also the time we start to prepare for our back to school routines. We clear off our desks, sort our piles of "stuff" and then take a trip to the cottage to unwind again!

The weather turned cool and we ended up curled up by the fire most mornings.

Then it was time to celebrate mémé's birthday.
She turned 70 and she thinks she might just put her feet up and not work this year. However, there are talks of travels, renovations and gardening of course. We wish her a stellar year of good health and happy times.
